"When my husband and I first got married, we moved to Kansas. But I really hated Kansas and we went back to Atlanta. And at that time, I started realizing I was pretty, and then I saw all these strip clubs and I thought it would be kind of cool to strip and have guys pay to see my body. I told my husband about it and he told me that a lot of nasty things go on in those clubs, so I was afraid to do it. And then I threw him out because he drank too much. And when he left, I also lost my job. I had a hard time finding another job, and a strip club opened down the street from my house. I got hired there as a waitress. When I got there, the manager said, "I know we hired you to be a waitress, but we really need dancers." I had never worn a pair of heels before. I didn't even have a piece of lingerie in my closet, but I really needed money. I had no husband, lots of bills to pay, and I said, "What the hell, I'll just try it. If I don't like it, I'll never do it again." I got some lingerie from K-Mart and some two-inch heels. I got up there and made a thousand dollars the first night."
