"It's sad but I've found that men would rather look at a thin Barbie-type and not speak to her before they would even talk to a large woman like me, who would take really good care of him in every way. Well, I enjoy being looked at as a sex object. So I have learned to be assertive and make the first move when I meet a man who looks exciting to me. Women like me are just looking for a normal, nice, regular man who wants to treat me with respect, have fun and enjoy life. I'm not going to lower my standards in men to find guys to satisfy me. I think magazines like XL and Voluptuous are so wonderful. Those guys really treat us big girls so nicely. There's also a great book I just read called Big Big Love by Hanne Blank. I really recommend this book to all large women and the men who love them."
